Search instructions:
When you conduct a search using WAPALL™ technology, we aim to give you useful and relevant search results. Thus, we offer a number of various search options that can be used in different combinations to yield the results you are looking for.
Default Search Options
When you conduct a search in WAPALL™ and do not change any of the pre-set options, your search will yield sites whose
descriptions or keywords are similar to your query. If you are in the WAPALL™
World mode, your search will be conducted with all registered sites worldwide. On the other hand, if you are in
the WAPALL™ United States mode, your search will be conducted with all registered sites specifically
targeting United States.
Word/Phrase Specific Search Options
When you conduct a search, you can choose between the options of "any
word," "all words," and "exact phrase."
- Any word: WAPALL™ will find all sites that match any word in your query with the exception of commonly used words
like "a," "the", and "and."
- All words: WAPALL™ will find all sites that match all the words in your query
(regardless of the order in which you type the words) with the exception of commonly used words like "a", "the", and "and."
- Exact phrase: WAPALL™ will find all sites that match all the words in your query in the exact order in which you type
them
The option selected by default will always be "any
word."
Location Specific Search Options
When you conduct a search, you can choose to limit the search to within a geographical location. If you do not want to limit the search, you can choose "World"
from the drop down list box. If you would like to limit your search to within a particular country, you can choose that country from the drop down list box. The country selected by default will
be the regional WAPALL™ page that you entered. In other words, if you are in
the WAPALL™ World mode, the default location will be the "World." However, if you are within
WAPALL™ United States, the default location selected will be the "United States."
For example, if you are in WAPALL™ United States, and select "France"
in the pull down menu, then WAPALL™ will find all sites that target France.
The search results will be based on the language in which you typed your
query. If you instead select "World," then WAPALL™ will find all sites worldwide,
that are available in the language you typed, and that match your query.
Language Specific Search Options
WAPALL™ will always find sites based upon the language in which you type your query.
For example, if you are in WAPALL™ World, and conduct a search using Spanish words or phrases, WAPALL™ will find sites whose descriptions or keywords match what you have typed.

Directory instructions:
The WAPALL™ directory is a location based engine. It is designed to provide
you with the most accurate listing of wireless web sites around the world.
The directory organizes and categorizes wireless sites based on targeted market
region of their service. WAPALL™ directory organized in a
logical, easy-to-use, and easy-to-find manner.
World and Country Modes
The sites that will show in the directory depend on
location mode
you are in. We have 50 different countries to choose from. We also have a
World mode which, if selected, will cause the directory to show all
sites in the directory regardless of their targeted country. For example, if you are in the WAPALL™
World mode, the directory will list all sites worldwide that
fall under the specific category that you have chosen. In contrast, if you
are in WAPALL™ United States , the
directory will list all sites pertinent to, and targeting the United States
market. In the United States mode you will not see sites targeting: e.g..
Traffic in London, or Coffee shops in Berlin. Top
Add URL instructions:
WAPALL™ provides an easy mechanism for companies that provide
wireless web site services to register their sites and become a part of our
search engines and directories. Since WAPALL™ is a wireless directory and
search engine, we do not accept submissions of sites which do not have wireless
web services or a fully functional wireless URL.
Starting Out
You must be in the WAPALL™
World mode in order to register a URL with our site. To get to
WAPALL™
World, click on the "WAPALL World" link in the menu at the
bottom of the home page.
Finding a Category
While in the WAPALL™
World mode, browse through the directory until you find the best
category for your site. Please note that you cannot submit a URL under
the main categories in the directory. We require that sites be
registered under the more specific subcategories. We suggest that you
register your site in the same listing as other sites which provide similar
services to yours.
If you cannot find an appropriate sub category within the directory in
which to submit your site, please submit your site under the most applicable
subcategory. The submission form that you will fill out in order to
register your URL will allow you the opportunity to suggest a new category to
be added to the WAPALL™ directory.
The Submission Form
Once you have found the appropriate subcategory
for your site, click on the "Add URL" link (the link can
be found above the site listing on the right hand side of the page) to access
our Submission Form. The form consists of a series of pages where we
will request that you provide specific information about your site.
After you complete each page, click on the NEXT button at the bottom of the
form in order
to proceed. After completing the form, you will receive an
acknowledgement.
If you fail to provide information that is required, you will receive a
instructional error message. Please follow the instructions in this
message and provide the necessary information. You will not be allowed
to continue to the next step of the application process until all required
information is submitted.
If you need to return to a previous page in order to make a correction, you
can simply click on the BACK button of your browser. Please note that
older versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator may not save your
previously entered data if you use the browser's BACK button to return to a previous page.
Please note, that after you have
completed the entire form and received the acknowledgement message, you
will not be able to use the BACK button of your browser in order to make
corrections.
Company Name and Password
The Submission Form will ask you for your company name and for a
password. Your company name will be used as your UserID to WAPALL™.
This UserID along with your chosen password will allow you to access and
update your URL profile every 60 days. Therefore, please choose a
password that is easy for you to remember, but that is also unique.
Location Information
The Submission Form will ask you for location information, namely the
geographical areas that your site services or targets. This information
is used by WAPALL™ in many ways. Location information is used to provide
WAPALL™ users with search results that are targeted towards their needs.
In addition, location information is used to determine what sites are listed
in the various WAPALL™ directories.
For example, if you submit that your site targets only the United States,
WAPALL™ will verify this information and upon approval, WAPALL™ will list your
URL in WAPALL™
World and in WAPALL™ United States.
Approval
Registering a site does not guarantee that it will be included in our
database. In order to provide the highest quality of service for our
users, each submission is examined and approved by our analysts. Please provide true and accurate information regarding your
site.
APPLICATIONS THAT
PROVIDE INACCURATE, FALSE, AMBIGUOUS, OR OTHERWISE MISLEADING INFORMATION WILL
BE DELETED AND THEIR URL, IP ADDRESS AND COMPANY NAME WILL BE PLACED IN OUR DENIAL
